Production tracking your customers can follow too.
A simple kanban-style order tracker for small build-to-order workshops. Your team works one shared board; your customer gets a clean public link instead of calling for updates.
Who Where Is Order is for
Where Is Order fits any shop that runs build-to-order production with roughly 5–50 active jobs at a time. We ship ready-made step templates for 30+ fabrication trades — if you currently track work on whiteboards, sticky notes, or a shared spreadsheet, you're the target reader.
Why workshops use it
- No more "is it ready yet?" calls. Every customer gets a personal tracking link they can open from their phone — auto-refreshes every 15 seconds.
- One source of truth for the whole team. Drag a card from Cutting to Assembly and everyone sees it live.
- Rush orders stand out. Flip the rush switch on time-critical jobs and a red marker shows on every card, list, and task — workers prioritise without you having to say it.
- Photos at every step. Workers snap photos from their phone; customers see real progress, not just status text.
- Auto-emails when ready. Mark complete and the customer gets a notification email right away (if you stored their email).
Quick start (5 steps)
- 1
Sign up your shop
Go to /sign-up. Enter your workshop name, choose your interface language, pick your business type, then add your name, phone (with country code), email and password. The language you pick sets up the whole app in that language. Pick the trade closest to yours from 30+ presets — Glass Factory, Aluminum & UPVC, Custom Kitchen, CNC, Stone & Countertop, Jewelry, Laser Cutting, and many more — so your first workflow comes pre-filled with the right production stages. We'll email you a confirmation link — click it, then sign in. You're created as the Owner — top of your workshop's hierarchy. The dashboard loads empty; you build your first workflow next. - 2
Build your first workflow
Open Workflows → + New workflow. The form is pre-filled with sensible starter stages for your business type — edit, add, or remove rows freely. Every workflow has three built-in steps that wrap your custom ones:- Order registered — first; intake + reference files
- Financial approval — second; payment sign-off
- Ready for delivery — last; completing it marks the order done
- 3
Invite your team
In Team click + Add user and pick a role:- Manager — assign them an existing workflow to own. They run the day-to-day of that workflow.
- Worker — assign a workflow + check which steps they can act on. They see only the tasks for those steps.
- 4
Add a customer and create the first order
In Customers save the customer with at least a name and phone (email lets Where Is Order send the "your order is ready" notification). Then go to Orders → New, pick the workflow, set a title and an expected delivery date. Where Is Order distributes the time-budget across the workflow steps automatically. Flip Mark as rush on the form if it's urgent. - 5
Work the board (or the worker view)
Sharing manually too: every order has a Share button — Where Is Order copies the customer link to your clipboard or opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message so you can send it before completion if a customer asks for an update.

Getting unstuck inside the app
Every dashboard page has a context-specific help guide reachable two ways:
- Click the floating button in the bottom-right corner.
- Or press ? anywhere outside an input.
A drawer slides in from the right with what each field does, who can do what, and the most common mistakes to avoid for the page you're on.
Workshop owners and managers also have a direct line to the platform team via the floating support chat — the headset icon bottom-right of every dashboard page. Each conversation is a ticket with its own subject and open/closed state, and replies stream in live over a WebSocket so you don't need to refresh.
